4 x 6 DD Coil

Hi,

I'm having trouble with one of my Whites coils the DD 4 x 6, When I put the Gain of my MXT in 10 or more the detector goes into OVERLOAD even with the coil 3 ft above the ground, so I switch the coil and test with the other two I have (Eclipse 950 and Eclipse 10x14) and no problem, I can put the gain to +3 with both. Does someone had this troubles?
Any suggest?

I have just tested an 4X7" Excellerator from Detech-- it surely acted the same way, --- when pushing sens
into the + section -- the machine instantly overloaded....
