Went to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan this past weekend and was able to pulll out some keepers in the mineralized soil and in between tons of iron.
3 Mercs - 17,26,32 along with 6 wheaties in one hole and a 42 Merc about 5" away. Also found an 1883 IH and a 28 Buffalo.
Most of the auto GB numbers were low teens to single digits. AM mode with sensitivity around 15 to 19. I was using both the stock and 6" HF DD coils.
There is so much iron in the ground my sweep speed was about 5 sec side to side but I was able to pull these keepers out of areas I have hunted with my White's over the last two years.
Also found this beach glass on Lake Superior.
Thanks for looking.
