golf balls?".....He was dead serious! I saw him watching me as I worked my way up the beach and when I got close enough for a acknowledging nod he asked me. Never heard that one before and come to think about it, I've never found a golf ball in the Gulf of Mexico yet. LOL
So about the hunt....
Sunup till noon thirty, two beaches, 2 hours at the first with some time spent looking for a lost wedding band, no luck finding it. It's a tough area to hunt being near a pass. It was a slack low tide when I got there, but once the tide starts to move..."forget about it."
Left there with a 925 toe ring and some change. So packed up and headed further down the beach. Ended up with more change, Swag earring, lead, trash, a tungsten, and the 2 sterling/14k & 14kGF rings in one scoop. I've gotten as much as 3 quarters in one scoop and even a ring and quarter that I picked out the quarter and luckily noticed the ring as I dumped the scoop. Good hunt and a nice day either way I look at it...GL ALL

Lots of golf balls here in New England.
Even a duck pin bowling ball and gold ring in one scoop.
Glass marbles...lots of strange things.
3 gold rings in one scoop...not once but THREE times! All three times were in fresh water.

AND many, many empty scoops? ? ? ? and never to find the original target - "floaters".
