I like to look at what you guys find ( I don't usually post my finds ) and thought I'd post a pic of the rings I found today. Been going to a beach I call my honey hole, it has given up 13 rings the last 3 months to me alone not to mention about the same for my hunting partner. Went early this morning and I had the water to myself. Found 15 quarters, 25 dimes, 5 nickles, 40 pennies, 1 10k ring, 2 14k rings, 1 14k earring and a mood ring. The ring on the right had Ster 14k inscribed on the inside, is this the maker or is the ring sterling and 14k, never have seen this before. A couple of weeks ago my partner found a really nice heavy 14k cross and 14k chain, he has the golden touch when it comes to finding gold, he had to work today so I went alone. Most of the time this beach also gives up about the same amount of coinage that I found today, it's amazing to find so many coins. Thanks for looking. John

I have found sterling and 14K rings before. and I have found 14K plated sterling before, so good question. Nice haul by anyones standards I say! Congrats

Nice bunch of rings...Nice Hunting Grounds.... I'm Looking for that big chain and cross too..GL HH

Now that is a beach I could live with. Nice looking rings. Congrats.

Thanks for the comments guys, every since I installed the Gray Ghosts the sounds have been better, stronger and gold has a more distinctive sound, should of done this a long time ago. HH

OOPS!
Looks like your honey hole is paying off. Last time I went to your part of the world, the mosquitoes ate my lunch. The water was calm and only a little breeze but I forgot my repellent and paid the price.

Congrats
HAPPY HUNTING
TRIPLE-SSS

Uber congrats on all the goods, that is what ya call a honey hole for sure.

Don't have any info on the "ster 14k" marking, though I scooped a ring stamped "N" sterling 14k.
The band was sterling with a strip of 14k gold layes into it, the silver was dulled about the color of natural titanium grey, the 14k insert was bam! Shiney gold.

Congrats again.

great spot for sure!

Very Good John, you really pulled some nice treasure!! Congrads on all....

Hi John

Nice fiends... Do you get them in water, wet or dry sand..?

Thanks

John

What detector did you add the Grey Ghosts to? If it was an Excalibur ll, did you have to send in to change out the hard wired earphone set?

Thanks

Just going on my own experience here...a ring marked both sterling and gold, as yours is, is usually made of silver, but with gold trim. Depending on how old the ring is, the gold plate/trim might have worn off, either mostly or completely.. Is your ring showing any sign of gold? It's hard for me to tell from the photo. Running over it with a target ID detector should tell you if it is mostly silver. Nice finds. HH
