Good going on your new record! Any particular favorite settings you used or type of hunting grounds?

When I first got the CTX, I loaded Evan's (gonehuntings) settings, and have pretty much used those settings exclusively. These settings use only 6 tones, 1 for iron, and 5 for conductive targets, set at the frequencies my ear seems to prefer.
I know I should be trying out some of the preset programs, i.e. coin mode, etc. I hit the ground running with GH's settings and have not looked back. I just hit 200 hours detecting time on the CTX and that silver is the result. Also have 250 wheats during the same time. Just finishing up my best month ever with 114 wheats this month.

80% of this silver was found in public parks that have been well hunted. I rarely have the opportunity to hunt private property and have not started door knocking yet. THE CTX TRULY MAKES ALL YOUR OLD SPOTS NEW AGAIN!!

One change I did make this month is in sensitivity. I usually run auto +2, but was able to go to auto +3 with no loss in stability. It seems to have made a VERY big difference, but I need to get more experience to know for sure. I also swing super slow many times. All found with CTX stock coil. Have both other coils, but have had no need to use them yet.

Congrats man awesome i can attest my silver count jumped from 6 for last season to know 43 with the ctx since it came out.

I too attribute the CTX to a greater silver total. I had about 25 silvers total using the E-trac and a Whites 6000 Coinmaster Pro machine and around August 6 of last year switched to the CTX. I have 180+ silvers since August 6 of 2012. Over 1100 wheats and approximately 7000 coins total. Last Tuesday I got silver #100, a 58 Rosie, then an our later 101 was a '40 quarter.

I hunt almost always in GH's pattern with manual sense at about 24-28. Open screen, wireless and ear buds. Almost 90% of the hunts are on house and business demolitions in the Houston area.

Crap... I was just getting ready to post a pic of my pennies.
LOL, good finds!
