I have never been so sick and tired of being sanded in like we are. Lots of tourists in the water, lots of stuff being lost and its all buried in feet of sand that keeps piling up.

Hope everyone else continues their gold streak!

It's a sad state of affairs, I tell ya...sad.

Hopefully the impending ECSC event and the brewing storm activity will both help us in our quest for the bling.

Gee Ron, Rob and I had targets last nite but had to leave due to me being at work this morning. There is a ton of sand in there and up behind 6th street the dredge was working and pumping sand like crazy. The water was calm enough to get in it but the sludge that was pouring out with the sand, was black and it stunk bad. The surf was black and we decided not to enter it to look for targets chest deep.Down by the pier the targets were ankle deep, Robs last hit was the big ugly ring. I was going back down tonite but not sure now. Norm

You have to look at it like this Ron, Whatever people have lost in the summer and it gets sanded in there will be more in the fall and winter when you start to lose the sand build up. Can you imagine all the goodies that are going to be there for you this fall and winter. Especially after a good NE wind. I am really looking forward to the cooler months ahead. It should be real good this cooler season with the great weekends we have been having all summer long here in N.J. HH
