4 hours in the surf lane today

Hit the surf lane this morning at 830 for the 1030 low tide.Wanted to check out my new Quattro on the beach this morning.Man it was windy and coooooool.Saw one dry sander this morning his name was Ray from North Carolina but he was not dressed for the cool weather and hard wind so he said he was headed back to his room. With the quattro I am finding a lot more trash but I love the depth it finds things.Ran into two more surf pirates Mike the professor and my good friend Max.Did not find any rings today but found 3 earrings and lots of pennies. Here is a spin down the lane.

is not an issue, in terms of timing and capacitance??
No PROBLEMA....at all?

it makes no difference

when i ordered the coils from sunray and wot guy all they wanted to know was how long i needed it to be

has no pigtail like regular expII cable

before i got the new sunray and wot i bought cable extension from sunray.................3ft is standard

no mention of your request either, so i think lenght do not matter

maybe someone will sound off here

Hi Max:

Nice picture - so who are those two handsome devils ? Not really you and Mike, right ?

There's no issue here that I'm aware of. Most of our coils have probably something in the 4 to 6 foot range of cable on them. I've always been told that they won't work as well if they are cut down, so don't do that, but how much effect it has I've never heard.

Good Hunting !!

Dick
