[/img] Was a super nice day today got out for a while felt pretty good to be swinging again , with deer hunting done had to get out again . Most coins came in at the 6 to 7 inch mark nothing real deep only two good signals in the bunch Lot's of iron and trash here .
All the other coins had iron or iron very close to the coins . I mainly use the 6 inch coil when I come here because of the trash.
Most of the coins were found by creeping forward a inch at a time when I find a large iron target I will creep into it from several directions and was rewarded with 3 good finds that normal sweeping would have missed.
Creeping is moving forward 1 inch at a time basically using the front of the 6 inch coil and digging at the front of the coil this actually let's you use the 6 as even a smaller coil . Less targets under the coil at one time cleaner signal better id recommended for intense trash hunting.
So I hope you guys got out may even try another hunt this year still in the 40s here last year todays temp was 14 below . sube

Sube,

I've done the same with the 15" WOT, massively overlapping swings; seems to be a hot spot in the middle of the center web that can give a good hit, inch forward or back and gone.

Patience and your great understanding of how to hunt in heavy trash paid off again.
Glad to hear that the weather is good for you.

Nice finds Sube...I should try the 1" forward creep with the stock 11" coil in trashy areas...I am a firm believer in slow sweeps and working a patch of ground hard...

Nice finds, I need to put my 6" on and give it a try in some really trashy areas.

Sube

What is your opinion about the stock 6" Minelab coil vs the Coiltek 10"x5" DD a coil?

Great finds Sube. Those Indians are in great shape. Advice taken well. Thanks for sharing.
