4 Hours at the beach today :thumbup:

Hit the surf lane around 2 this after noon not many people around till much later.It was kinda cool and windy but still a nice day.Did not see any other Virginia Beach Surf Pirates out to day.I hit the beach south of the pier today.Got to see some kool sites today.There were some guys jumping the surf on there Jet Ski and one guy wind surfing sometimes he would come out of the water 50ft in the air.Did not find any gold or silver but did find a russian coin. Here is a spin down the lane

Great pictures, Dave. I should have been on the beach. Instead I was kayak fishing in Rudee Inlet along with about six other kayakers. None of us caught anything, but had a good time.

I was also out on the beach today from 19th to about 30th street. It appears our paths never crossed since I never saw any pirates either. I was out from 4:00PM until about 6:30PM. I found very few targets, but did find a few cents, a tarnshed silver earring, and a larger earring that seemed to be corroding. The guy kite surfing was interesting to watch as he raced back and forth in the water and took large jumps. The beach seemed to be really sanded in and the targets were very few and far between.

Funny how those souvenir pennies have a way of getting lost at the beach within hours of being stamped. I've found some here in Bermuda as well.
