Anyone using the 4" coil on the F4? how do you like it? I also heard the Bounty Hunter 4" coil works with the F4? has anyone
tried it and is there a difference between the two? Thanx

The BH 4" coil is the identical coil the F2/F4 uses, and it works great in heavy trash and for getting around tot-lot equipment. The only problem is the coil is so small, if fells like your painting a 747 with a Q-Tip

I love the 4" with the F2 an heavy trash sites Depth quite reasonable considering. Pinpoint spot on.

I liked mine until I buried a silver quarter 5 in. down[very clean soil] and the 4 inch concentric coil wouldnt detect it, a very, very slight scratch of a note in all metals mode. Then I tried a siver dime, 5 inches down in my garden , nothing! I will say it swings tight around foundations and rocky areas, woody areas also, but the depth test really bothered me.JMO. Maybe its just a cheap coil I have,I bought it on sale for 25$ from my dealer, dont even know what make it is.I have found alot of clad with it but no silver,,thats wy i tested it in my garden, again JMO.
