4.5" coil.......

I believe it's a concentric - someone will correct me if I'm wrong (don't have that one yet).

Has anyone used this 4.5 inch coil , and is it good ?

I purchased the 4.5 Super Sniper coil. For me, it is best used for specific applications such as extremely trash infested areas at schools and parks I hunt. It also be can up close to park benches, picnic tables and benches, playground equipment and such like. I'm kind of a coin and jewelry hunter hunting in parks and schools. I went to a very trashy area I had hunted many times using the 5X8. I wanted to practice my navigation techniques with the Sniper. Was very impressed with it. It is as good as advertised. Is it cost effective to have such a small coil added to your collection of tools? Do you perhaps think the 5X8 is sufficient for you? Perhaps. I reckon it depends on the style of hunting a person does. What I do know is that the Sniper coil has helped me get a couple of gold rings, including one on that first day. I discovered I have a fondness for gold and platinum. With the Sniper coil and the AT Pro, I'm able to hunt areas where other detectorists fear to tread. Results, it does get results.
