Hello i thought i would share my birthday finds and metal detecting adventure with everyone. Here in Maine is a 1 or 2 acre hill i call "Button hill" it is all wood's now with 40 too 60 year old tree growth but way back 1700's and 1800's it was farm and cattle grazeing land and has a small cabin type cellar hole as well with plenty of stone walls.First off i want too say i run my Garrett AT-PRO in pro mode in custom mode with with sensativity 1 notch down from max also i run with iron audio off and set at 40 with all targets notched out from 0- 50 and it runs smooth but sometimes i will turn the iron audio on just too check iron infested area's and deep iron signals believe me if it is iron you will know. so here are my finds from six hours of detecting with the AT-PRO also when you get more knowledge with the detector you will not dig alot of junk. I'm posting pics of my finds includeing a coin that has some rays also a fat crusty large cent also 8 buttons and some neat relics hope you enjoy.
