3rd Water Hunt

Old Longhair

Got in the water with the 1280X today for a few hours for my third ever time. The inland lakes around here are all hunted hard, so being a newb to the whole water thing I think that I did rather well. I pulled the usual trash, a handful of clad, a broken junk earring, a house key, a small stainless pocket knife, and some honest goodies.

A few pieces of this broken silver and rhinestone necklace came up in one scoop. I'm sure that more of it was there, but the pieces were small enough that they fell through the holes in my scoop.

This was a welcome sight too.

When this appeared, I did a little happy dance in the water where nobody could see.

I don't know what the center stone is, or if the perimeter diamonds are real, but 14K is 14K.

Two rings in three hunts is pretty darn good if you ask me.
