3rd times a charm, DF scores 14k and Case knife

Out for the 3rd time in 4 days with the Duel Field this Sunday morning, taking advantage of the low tide and last weeks beach erosion from the big water and rough surf that took some sand off the beach. I just hunted along the waters edge this morning never getting more than ankle to knee deep at times. Only had time for a two and a half hour hunt that started out digging up some pennies, hat/lapel pin, and trash for the first 45 minutes before the 14k, 3.2g band showed up. More trash, a quarter and nickel were found before I dug the deep Case knife. It had a strong signal after 2 big scoops before the 3rd scoop got it. I was able to open up the blades by hand, but after a soapy water soft brass brush cleaning you can see the grip part started to fall apart and the two smaller blades have some holes eaten through them where they were crusted up. I heard that Case has a lifetime warranty.....hummm! GL ALL

Thanks for the comments, and for those considering a DF...it's a great PI for the money!
Did some id on the case knife....it's dated at 1992, and from how worn down the blade is from years of sharpening, I assume it was some beach fisherman's prized possession for some time.
