3rd time out w/SovGT = GOLD!

Hey Gang. Well,I decided to get out there with the ol Sov GT. Ain't gonna master it sitting on my butt! At a local park, I'm at a spot where a buddy found 2 mercs side by side with his Cortez. I'm going real slow listening for the weak ones. Getting confused. Frustration and disappointment are overwhelming me. I can't wait to meet with a real Sov Pro! So I crank the discrimination all the way up and start swinging at a regular detectors pace. Nothing out there but zinc pennies it seems.
I figured this was just another penny. With the disc cranked all the way the last thing I expected was a gold ring. Well I'm not going to complain. (It reads just below the zinc notch on my Ace 250)
Also inscribed inside is
"25 12 19" (Dec 25th 1919?)
