3rd time back to the carnival spot for me...

I hit a park by me that used to have carnivals. Its all clad coins. But I went back this morning and found
28 more quarters.
7 dimes
and 10 pennies
with 1 1952d wheat cent

I am still only cherry picking the quarters, but I went for the occasional dime or penny.


The 3 times I went combined I found:

quarters 74
dimes 10
nickels 1
pennies 23
and 1 wheat cent 1952 d

This pic is just from hunt #2 + 3. I already spent the 19 quarters on laundry and vending machines.

A pure clad mine. Id scan slowly with heavy overlapping. I went to a site where my town moved an annual carnival to about 10 year ago. Expecting alot of clad. I started at the entrance and my detector went crazy. So I moved about 15 ft beside a large oak and IDed my first targget as a 50 cent at 4 inches which usually turns out as interesting junk, I dug a 63 Franklin. and later a mercury. Good chance this site could have been something before your time.
