3Rd Time at the "Spill"...

Howdy--

Kenneth and I went back to the Spill site. The actual spill area was emptied of coins. So we hunted the surrounding area in search of strays. We found a few. Kenneth dug a nice 1951-D Washington and a few wheat cents. I got 2 silver Roosevelt's, 2 nickles, 11 wheat cents, a cross, a silver earring. a Safe Driving pin, a button and a nice marble. That "Honey Hole" was a blast while it lasted. I hope that everyone who reads this has one in their future! Best of luck and...

Seems like there was a bunch of kids in that era that got ahold of there parents change over the years. Did you go back over with a bigger coil? Awesome recoveries.

Armored truck? hahah. I don't know. I'm guessing that it may have been some kid's buried treasure, or a jar of change that was broken when the house was moved. I know this: I've never found so many coins in such a small area. Best of luck and...

Yes Sir. I sure did. I hit it with the 6X10 and got nothing in the coin hole. I'm by no means finished with that site. There is PLENTY of ground there that has not seen my coil. The lot had been hunted before by others - I saw the tell tale not filled in holes. Thanks Jimmy. Best of luck and...
