Well, after getting my second silver, the 45 WLH on friday evening, i managed to get out for a bit this afternoon at a different place. A local park that has been around since the late 1800's. I hunted about an hour and hadnt even found a clad coin. Just screw caps and the old style pulltabs. Starting to think it was hunted hard and probly hunted out but i kept going down towards where the city swimming pool is. It was built in the 30's and still used today. On the upper side of it there is some steep slopes, its kind of in a valley. I finally found 2 zinc pennies a few inches apart and was working my way back towards the truck and i got a good toned repeating signal but it was kind of iffy or i might say choppy but i could make it sound pretty good from several directions and the crosshairs were staying pretty much in the top right corner. It showed pretty deep so i dug. And then i dug some more, the sunray probe still singing in the hole i kept digging and finally from a depth of 10 inches came the 1907 D Barber Dime. I was so excited, i left right afterwards cause i had to get home to cook supper for the family. I was shocked to say the least. I was just thinking all weekend how i hadnt found anything deep ever and was wondering if my machine was even working right. I was running IM at 21 and auto sensitivty at 27. I think i am just getting lucky because i havent dug a single wheat penny yet this year. I dug 7 last summer in my own yard which never produced any silver. And now i have found my first 3 silvers now that i started hunting public places. But havent dug a single wheat cent or indian head, but plenty of clad. I also noticed at this park that it obviously has been hunted plenty over the years because theres not much clad, but theres a ton of pulltab signals and i only dug a few, whoever hunts it is not digging them so i may start digging them all hoping to find some nickels and maybe even some jewerly. I am feeling so much more confident in the se pro now. I have a feeling it will be in my hand a lot the next 6 months or more. Happy hunting folks, Sam
