New member
i took my 3khz coil out this morning at an old depot and found about 7$ clad and a l&n railroad key but i wanted to know about what id number does gold rings hit at and are they pretty stable or do they jump around by the way i run a 70

The TID on gold rings will vary with the size, shape and metallic content. Here is a link to an article I wrote sometime back, concerning TID's and various "keepers".

As well, here is a link to a post I made concerning the TID on some of the rings I've found with mine.
