:starwars:Hi !!don't you think that the electronic is the same for both ??

enhanced mode + 4th tone = same thing ???:inlove:

All you'll end up doing with it is digging up lots of old coins with it. And who needs that kind of headache? Spending all of that time on your knees just digging and digging and digging. And for what? Wheat pennies, Indian heads, Barber silver, V-nickels. Nah, just sounds like way too much work. Get some other kind of detector.

which I think basically means that they moved some things around and brought them from a mid tone to a hi tone. BUT, the CZ3d is more of a specialty detector then the CZ70. The 3d is mainly for pre-1950's sites, mainly because in more modern sites with aluminum & such will cause you to dig a lot more junk.

This is why they recommend that you run the 3d in salt mode in post-1950 sites, which basically makes the CZ3d a CZ5 in salt mode.

In the enhanced mode CZ3D notch widths are changed...
In the regular mode its a regular CZ locked in salt mode..
In other word CZ7A pro which preceeded the CZ70 pro....square tab was changed to relic on the CZ70 and the relic facet had a different tone but facets on the CZ70 pro are the same as all previous CZ models...they just changed square tab to relic and gave this one facet a different tone.
Actually the notches of the CZ3D are changed for older places sort of dig more to find more and does work in old areas but in newer ones or old places still used today be prepared to dig a lot of junk..I can see where Fisher is coming from but not my cup of tea...
