These are the coordinates to my favorite MD'ing spot. Help yourself. There is too much for me to MD. I only have a few hours on Sunday to detect. They are demo-ing houses faster than I can MD them. It is about 20 city blocks long and 5 city blocks wide. They don't have all the houses demo-ed, but it looks like a waste land because they scraped all the vegetation off. I know I am MD'ing virgin land. Brush has been cleared away where I couldn't have gotten to before.


I found this eagle pin. Any idea what it is from? I posted on another forum, but no response.

The shield design is an older one but it appears to have enamel paint on it so prob a guess would be 30-50's era?
Also those are some of the most fun areas to hunt, dirts flipped,easy digging. Depending on the area you can find anything! Old/new but usually alot of trash. Good spot for a Toysoro w/ 7 inch coil.

It is hard to guarantee anything. Sometimes they move quick and sometimes I don't think they will ever condemn another house for me to detect. I am overwhelmed now. They generally demo-o a group of homes real fast than stop for a while. If that is the case, it could go through summer. If not, I would guess another 3 months. I really don't think they know. As money comes in they go to the next phase.

I'm not generous. I want it all for myself. I felt like a life boat in the middle of the ocean MD'ing in that vast waste land. There are going to be a lot of things lost. I have been MD'ing it for over 2 years and I have not seen anyone else MD'ing it. I have MD'ed there so much, the people think I am a city worker. I have been in the local paper. The police will stop and ask how I am doing today. I know I have gotten over 500 wheat's. Lots of Barbers, Mercury's, IH's, v nickels and a shield type. Lots of rings, silver and gold. I have quite a collection of tokens. I have found many musket balls and a few Minnie. Lots of weird stuff too.

No, it across the river from there, but fairmont is right. It is all of State St. + 2 to 3 blocks on either side of State St.
