These are the coordinates to my favorite MD'ing spot. There is too much for me to MD. I only have a few hours on Sunday to detect. They are demo-ing houses faster than I can MD them. It is about 20 city blocks long and 5 city blocks wide. They don't have all the houses demo-ed, but it looks like a waste land because they scraped all the vegetation off. I know I am MD'ing virgin land. Brush has been cleared away where I couldn't have gotten to before.

It has been above freezing the past couple days. On my day off I had to MD in 28 deg F. and windy. Good thing, the ground isn't frozen. My settings were sen. 80, threshold -2, dis. 6 in wet ground and it ran smooth. I lowered the sen. when I got in trashy areas. I found this eagle pin. Any idea what it is from?

I am not sure about bullets. I think it has p.c. co. 18 written on it?

I am thinking about making a case for displaying gas valves. I sure find enough of them and they are ornate.

This is most of my finds minus the copper and brass pieces that I throw in a bucket. A miner's brass bottom center and I find lots of those keys. Always like eye balling marbles. definitely my first pin cushion. Only 5 wheat's this time and no silver. It's getting frustrating not finding any old coins or silver. I have found many coins from the 1800's in this area. I should be finding more. Maybe I need to put down the F-70 and go back to the Ace.

Couldn't get it all on one picture.

I don't find many 1914. I'm going to try to clean this one up some more.

Looks like a great spot John, all scrapped and ready for you to hunt. The age indicators are definitely there.
