Been hunting hard but the silver has been eluding me, my buddy found 3 already but finally yesterday I got a signal it bounced a bit and I pulled a 44 wheatie but I didn't feel that was right stood up went over it again and a couple of inches to the left I got another signal. It was the 35s dime thats what I thought I heard. so hopefully the silver finds will keep coming now, it is hard out here in tacoma to find silver regularly heard Tennessee has a lot LOL Happy hunting all

Nice! I`ve had my AT Pro for a year now and I have found only one silver coin and that was a 1950 silver dime. I found it at an old farmhouse. Been trying to get access to some more old home sites to increase my chances.

Mudd I have hunted probably close to 60 old homes here in Tacoma dates ranging from 1905-1950 I have only came up with 6 silver dimes, 4 of them out of 1 yard , out here alot of the yards have been redone or back filled when u find a 1987 penny at 7 inches that's not a good sign lol but ya don't know unless u look. Remember go slow and grid and if you can go over it a couple of times you would be surprised at what you missed the first time. Good luck

Going over ground a second time is absolutely true. Every time I detect a spot over again I find something I missed. I do the grid method.
I always go east west on the first pass, then north south on the second visit. Some spots I hit 4 or 5 times. I know the finds are not fresh drops
Because on most of these they are vacant lots and no one is are around them.

Good on the silver. Yeah, Tennessee is a silver mine. Come on down, it is still waiting to be discovered. Good detecting work on the Merc. HH jim tn

Nice to get a start on the silver. I got my ATP just over a year ago and it has been great at singing out on silver. Heck - it's a great coin hunter and a fun detector.

It's always nice to see Mercury looking up at you!!
