Started chasing down a spot to hunt this morning, as well as trying to locate a couple others. "Feelers" are out on the location of an old Fairgrounds, and I got permission to hunt an old school site the owner wasn't even aware was there.

I remembered a property I'd trapped a few years ago, and called the owner to see if I could MD it.....he said "yep". Barn standing, but house long gone. The area where the house sat is nice mowed grass, surrounded by beans (so I plan to go back once the beans are gone).

1st signal was a nice Merc.....I knew it was gonna be a good day. I'll let the pics do the talkin'..

Thanks for the post.

Could you share what you like about the 350?
Could you share what you don't like about the 350?

Thanks,

Thanks all!

Mike, please note I'm just a hobbyist, and do good to tell one end of a MD from the other :surrender: I couldn't tell anyone about the "operation" of them, or anything "technical" regarding them.

That said, to me, I don't see a huge difference between the 250 and the 350. I was in the market for an inexpensive back-up detector, and really love my 250. The 350 gave me a larger coil. I'd bet I'd have made the exact same finds had I been swinging the 250.

I know that's probably not a lot of help, but in all honesty is about the best I can give. Now if I were in the market for a new 1st detector, I'd certainly recommend the 350 if one could afford the additional $85 over the 250, but if not, I'd recommend the 250 equally.

I think if I were wanting more of an "upgrade" from the 250, I'd look into the AT. The Ace series are the only detectors I've ever owned. Unless I'd win the lottery, odds are good it may stay that way.

I'm getting ready to post pics of todays finds.....and I got a goodun'
