350 or 1350

Looking for a backup detector, mostly coin hunting. Which detector would be better for that? Any advantage with the target sizing? Thanks Tom

The 1350 i use now. really simple turn on and go and having great success on coins!! i'm told it's one of the top coin shoots because of the imaging!! what u using now?

Just got a Explorer 2, still learning. I sold my X-terra 50 that was my backup, looking at maybe a garrett or another xlt for my backup. Thanks Tom

Mostly coin hunting? Then definitely get the GTP 1350. It's designed with coin shooting in mind.
The Ace 350 is design more for relic hunting, with a higher iron resolution and less coin resolution. Doesn't distinguish between dimes and quartes or dollars and half dollars. Also, that double D stock search coil on the Ace 350 sees bottlecaps as coins.
So, GTP 1350 is a MUCH better coin shooter than the Ace 350.
Best of luck to ya, whichever machine you decide to get.:wiggle:

I think Metalhead nailed it!

Tomcat how you like the Minelab? i'm thinking about getting the Etrac..
