I went to the Jersey shore today for the first day of summer. I hadn't been down in more than a month so I was really looking forward to getting out in the fresh air and summer sunshine. For June, there was a decent crowd on the beach. I wasn't expecting much, since the swimming season doesn't really get going here until July. Hunted for about three hours with my buddy Joe. Neither one of us had much to speak of, just a dollar or two in clad. Walking back ,in the wet sand, to the beach entrance, I got a strong signal. I thought it was more trash, like all the other bits of trash I had dug. Out came a long necklace, 34 inches, with a religious medal. Got it home and it's marked "750". What a great way to start summer.

Thanks Brian. I've been using the 12 inch coil on my GT for the last six months. I like it WAY better than the stock coil. I'm sure we will run into each other on the beach soon.:detecting: HH.
