31* at 5 AM, but warmed to 41* by 9 AM so off to the beach I went and found a silver ring...and other things

Was detecting in low tide mud and troughs( my favorite) with no luck so I activated "Plan B"... wet sand at shoreline and found what at first glance looked like a washer....the color, style, and weight fooled me..but upon closer observation I saw a stamping inside.
