My screen has a large black blob in it and when I called Minelab they said that they were backlogged for weeks and to see if I could keep using it until things slowed down a bit. I'm glad to hear that it was only 14 days. But I still can't seem to wanna let go of it for that long so I guess i'll keep looking at the blob for a while longer. Thanks for the info.
Back in action now. ML customer service ended up coming thru after a minor ball drop. Think it was related to an individual, not the full service dept. Ended up having to send the new unit back for defective toggle. I asked for a loaner and it was granted... sent overnight! The overall experience turned out to be fine!
