3030 on gold?

How is the 3030 on gold? Can it hit it deep? how small has the gold been you have picked up? I know the Etrac isnt good on it hopefully 3030 is waaay better
 
I have hit gold earring backs in freshwater at 6+ a few times and dug a goldand diamond ring on land at 4-5" soild has could be traget trace on both.
