ok this post is NOT FOR CHAT its for absloute information on the 3030 so we dont have to troll through several different topics
SO TO RECAP no discussions JUST INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT CHARGING, PUTTING TOGETHER, PROGRAMES anything that saves us time and helps us get cracking

when fitting the stem together the two pieces can only be slotted together one way leaving the screen sitting at the side but you need to twist it to get it in the right orientation BUT it can only be twisted when the stem is collapsed in its travelling position and then it twists easily

in the uk we only have a dvd with the manual on so i have had it copied by a photocoping company as they put holes in it as it was running through
it started copying in german and the assistant had to re adjust it and make sure the english language was selected
the holes mean that it can be neatly put into a file and it is just so much easier to read

Same here when I first started to down load, started printing in German took me a while to stop the printing. So you had your DVD down loaded by a printing company, thats a great idea for those who don't have access to a home computer and printer.

Good idea with having the manual professionally placed inside a binder, was thinking of doing the same.

Thanks for sharing,

when coupling the wireless module with the detector make sure the module has the speaker facing the machine and then it will pass the information and complete the link

Thanks for the wireless tip, had issues with not bonding with the CTX and Randy helped me out.

Yours is another valuable piece of good information, appreciate the help allot of good information on this forum.

Thanks again,
Paul (Ca)

when you have selected your ideal tones you can either check by hitting the play tone option or the play all option these can ONLY be heard through the detector speaker not through the WM10

i have asked a question about pressing the sensitivity button down and then altering the manual sensitivity which i was struggling to do here is an answer i got from an english site from a gentleman called randy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Switch the CTX on then press and hold the Sensitivity button then on the top of the screen it should show Sensitivity 3/3 if you are already in Manual Sensitivity, if you are already in Auto Sensitivity it will display at the top 1/3.
Now this is where you have been losing the options of Auto or Manual, Scroll down to the first window Sensitivity Type and press the Left Button for Auto and the Right Button for Manual.
If you are wanting to alter the Sensitivity Level of Manual select the Right Button and then scroll down to Manual Level then adjust with the Left or Right Button, when you have the level set how you want it just press the Detect Button once to take you back to the detecting screen.
Hope this helps.
