30 Minute Hunt Finds V Nickle

Went to an old school site in one of the few not planted fields today. Hunted about 30 minutes with my 50 and dug a 1905 v nickle. Numbers were all over the place and it didn't even sound good but I dug it because it was the only sound I heard and the rain was approaching fast.
Thanks for looking

Nice find!

Sometimes digging bad signals pays off. Nice nickel , I have never found a V yet.

Oh Yeah! Dig those odd signals. Sometimes a coin is on edge, and the machine can't get a good reading. The machine acts the same way with the necklaces..... I LOVE those short hunts, and I do them often! The best part is where you step out of your vehicle and have a nice find within your first 20 or so feet...Congratulations! I have yet to find a V nickel so I am envious!
