3 Years of Silver and other Best Finds

This Silver is about 90% dug, and 10% pocket change...The other items were all dug at some point over the past 3 years...Most of it was back from 2005 when I started detecting Wood's Field in Solvay, NY...I had put this stuff in a plastic baggie and put it away and mostly forgot about it, until I was digging in drawers for a charger for a drill I misplaced...The chain is 10K gold hollow fill I think...no markings on it (I think they were in the clasp that I could not find when I dug it)...Enjoy...

Hi GoGoGopher

I'm a newbie to this forum and from the Montreal region in Quebec. In the second picture, you have there a Canada one cent 1922. This is a key date as it worth $20 in VG grade and $27 in Fine grade. Only 1 million were minted. Congratulations for this rare find.

I didnt find Woods Field in Solvay. Is it near Gertrude Park?

Look for the intersection of Woods Road and Third Street...there is a large ball field there (3 fields actually)...

Have you searcehd the area behind Woods Field, bordered by Milton?

That area is on what used to be a Limestone Quarry years back...it is a giant hill, and is now both village and private property and is posted...It has been bulldozed so many times, that anything good is buried under 40 feet of garbage...There are a cell tower and a windmill generator powering it up there now...

Well, so much for that idea!
