Bought it for the beach. Used it in a park large grassy area yesterday. Covers a lot of ground real fast, has good depth, and believe it or not, pinpointing with the front tip of the coil is as accurate as the 5.75" coil. Moderate sweep speed needed for a good signal, fast sweep speed gives a tick signal that could be missed. Works great on my Vaquero.
