3 small silver studs

Decided to give the lake one more spin today before this weeks certain freeze up..used the excal today ... was hunting in ankle to knee deep water... no gold today, did score 3 silver stud earings and a quarter which was like 14 or 15 inches deep... encountered a strange phenomenon today..the lake is refilling and in the very shallow water the sand is still frozen underwater even though there is no ice on the surface...[attachment 305901 20150104_1950271.jpg][attachment 305902 20150104_1950411.jpg] happy hibernating....

Those are some really tiny things you detected in the water. Looks like nothing gets past you.

BHPA- good final hunt and happy hibernating to you as well. Some may not believe you when you state you found the quarter that deep but then there are others that know differently. I will say this, for those that may question the depth capability of the detector(Minelab Excalibur) (not starting some flaming war, just pointing out what I personally observed) with my sovereign GT, 8" tornado and sensitivity set at 1pm I picked up my planted dime at 10". Picking that quarter up at 14-15" is easily obtainable.

Great work! I do not doubt that deep Q a bit either, especially in wet sand. It almost gets annoying to have to go that deep after them...:clapping:

Dang, more small stuff! amazing how many tiny targets you nail. I think there is a gold stud with big ice out there that has your name on it!
