3 silvers

Just got my etrac yesterday and took her out for a spin!!! I ended up getting 2 silver dimes and 1 silver quarter and a bunch or 1970'80s pennies. I find the pennies come in just like silver? Audio wise. I'm in Canada BTW, so modern canadian clAd doesn't do well with the etrac ( it's steel) deepest coin was a dime at 5 inches. I am going to haft to build a test garden and start learning deep signals.

ya if it sounds sweet dig it. i pulled a silver 1/2 out at 8 inches sounded like a copper penny id was like a copper penny. so dig all the penny signals especially if there deep

Congrats on your first E-Trac silver. Looks like you got a great start. We have the same problem with US pennies as they will sound like silver and come in at 12-44 which around where a silver dime would hit.

Congratulations on your first of many silvers! I've noticed that the Canadian pennies of those years sound pretty good also.

A test garden is an excellent idea. Be sure to put some coins in the ground on an angle and vertical so you can get a good idea of how and where the detector responds to such targets.

Good luck on your next hunt and post some pictures when you get a chance.
