Found the half and quarter next to a towering oak tree, they were about a foot away from eachother. The half was the first dig and the quarter was the second. The necklace charm says sterling on back. Found the old bullet also, dont know what it is if anyone has clue let me know, it looks pretty old. The last barbers I found was a half and quarter so they come in pairs for me, lol, HH

Congrats! Them Barbers are in awesome condition.

Awesome finds. Congratulations.

Great finds! The silvers look like they're in good shape after coming out of the ground. The bullet is hard to tell what caliber it is without something to judge it's size by, is it lead? With the single lube/crimp ring around the base I would guess it is from a pistol, just my guess:blink: thanks for sharing.

The bullet tells a story here. Notice it appears to have rifling grooves present but very little deformation. This means it was probably shot into the air and landed on soft ground. Rowdy celebration? Signal to begin an event? Don't know, but I often find old coins nearby these "pristine" bullets.

Really nice finds anywhere but a park! wow and a half to boot. I never do good in parks. Part of it is my mind set though if im in a park its cause got turned down for private yards and think everything has been dug already. And I can not stand clad oh man I hate it even more so when its four inches and I hope its silver.

Congrats! Barber halves are tough to come by.
