3 silver kind of day!

Made it out for few hours today and ended up with about 2 bucks in clad, a car emblem part, pull tabs, foil, and all the other common junk. My good finds were a 57 and 61 rosies, and washington quarter from 62. Gonna head back out in the morning to a different park after I get the kids to school, since this church has a school as well and dont wanna be out digging around while the kids are there. Would have had another 50 cents in clad but started the day with 2 kids about 8 or so following me around asking, "if you find a diamond ring can I have it", "If this is a quarter can I have it?"

Nice on the silver and the kids. They can be a real pest at times. Glad you are swinging. HH jim tn

You guys are eating up the silver with those At Pro's..

Thanks guys. It reminds me of deer hunting, Md-in in general I mean. When hunting its funny on how you can make a stump with stick in front of it look like a trophy buck staring right at ya. Today at 3 different times I dug gold modern pull tabs and each time I almost prematurely celebrated thinking for sure it was a gold ring. That and how peace full it is in those phones even with all the tones beeping away. I love it!!!

Awesome! Yeah, I hear you about the peacfulness of hunting metal...really like no other endeavor up to date.

Hard to beat 3 silver coins for a few hours hunt....even with the tagalongs. Congrats!

Excellent hunt Bens. And you nailed it on the peace and relaxation to be found with earphones on and a detector in hand.

Three silvers = happy pappy
re: Kids: I use "Brat-B-Gone" spray, but any household soap should discourage the little angels.

Thanks guys. I feel like I am really starting to click with the PRO more and more each day.

Going to be posting some cool finds I made today that include my first 2 wheaties, a few matchbox cars, a what looks to be quite old die cast tow truck in tact mostly, and a nice handful of clad. My buddy and I were suppose to get lunch at noon but he got a call for a job interview and they could do it right away today....... at noon... lol. He said if you want detect the crap out of my yard while I am gone and we can eat afterwards but there prob isnt much there. Well little did he know..... haha. Also his landlord came out later and said "I was watching you getting worried thinking you were diggin a hole each time you would kneel down and the yard would be all tore up. What were you doing each time you would kneel down?" I just smiled and said I was digging a hole. :) Once I showed her the plugs and how I did it she was amazed that she didnt notice she had walked right over about 30+ of them on here way to talk to me. Did help the soil is super loamy rich and black as well as nice and wet from the snow melt yet. Soooo much better then chipping away at the frozen dirt like 2 weeks ago!

Will get some pics tomorrow and get the posted up to see if anyone can date that toy truck for me.

Thanks again and happy hunting all.
