But its a LUSTRIUM! which is some cheap metal..the last three class rings I've found have all been made out of this stuff. I contacted the girl and we will see if she wants it back. The big gray one is 925 weighs 5gr, that was in the deeper water off to the side of the main swimming area, and the little red one is bubblegum. Necklace is stainless steel. All in all it was a decent mornings hunt in the water with the Pro, in the right place, hitting the right signals, just no gold showed up today. On another note, going through the sunglasses I find almost daily, one set is Oakley Bottlecap which lists for 105.00...so that's good.

Still a good hunt with some nice targets. Yep, those foreign metal rings are showing up all over. My last 3 have all been g f. Golds coming, Mud!!!!! HH jim tn

Good hunting, so all Mud!
Yes, it is true, Nitro rings are invading our beaches, damn!:starwars: There must be a law against junk rings, world law ... In that fxxxing work our politicians? :pulltab:?

3 rings no matter what is a good thing...I think!! I've been having a few of those days myself and it can be both exciting and depressing at the same time. Rings in the pouch but no value except for the one you can hopefully return. That can be a pretty good feeling knowing you did the right thing and got someone their treasured ring back on their finger. Congrats and keep on scoopin'!!

I'm learning Spanish (again) and checked out your name, it's a good one..........You are now Cachorro De Barro!! Be sure and roll those R's when you say it!!

Adios from Pap

My fellow detectorists, as the next president of these United States, I will, on my first day in office, sign an executive order making the creation of any item of jewelry or coinage out of a non-precious metal (aka: Nitro) a federal crime carrying a mandatory death sentence. Also, the removal or dropping of any "sta-put" beverage tab, bottle cap, or other metal trash item will carry a mandatory life sentence of community service, scouring the ground and collecting said trash metal items. In addition, all archaeologists, curators, and historians (aka: looters) will be required to replace all metallic items in their collections into the ground where they were originally dug, so that metal detectorists can enjoy their god-given rights to glory in the discovery of said items. All lands, public and private, will be made available to detectorists on demand.

Mud: You're killing it - hope the next three are goldies! Not all that is gold glitters (??). Put those Oakleys on eBay! I made $105 yesterday on a padlock, some license plates, and a few old photos.
