3 Ring Day

Hit four tot lots today with the gold bug pro and 5x10 coil. The first two lots had a couple of coins, but most came from the last two tot lots. All three rings came from the 4th tot lot. One is marked 925 and the other got me excited but alas it is marked 14k plated and I can see that some of the plating is wearing thin in spots. Don't know what metal the little scorpion is but it is kind of cool. The bag of trash is from January and February minus the really large junk. I really like the 5x10 coil. Here are some pics:

WTG, small gold adds up and most of the gold that's lost is micro any way.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the tips Ant! This time was with the Gold Bug Pro, plan to go back with a Gold Bug 2 as soon as I get another one which should be soon. I had to sell mine a few months ago to pay some bills and miss the rich sounds of the GB2.

In case anyone doesn't know, (Ant) is the inland gold king, imo. His posts heavily inspired me to leave the turf and spend more time jewelry hunting tot lots. He knows his stuff and just posted a video demo of one of his hunts here:

Check out his old posts for some cool pics of inland gold jewelry too.

Excellent work! It still amazes me the tiny pieces of metal the GB Pro will find.

Nice finds !!!
