Went back to my parents yard for a while today with Tobey and we pulled 3 more Mercs from the front yard. Two of them where about a foot and a half apart. Was kinda exciting to get one right after another, then the next few hits of a solid 83-84 we were thinking dime for sure. Turned out to be a few larger aluminum disc thingies. Looked to be from a garden sprayer end with all the tiny holes in it.

Thanks Jim, yea the small coil hasnt come off since the day I got it. :) Prob gonna do my best to clean out spots with the small one and then go back over em with the stock coil for the added depth.

Heck, after reading your other thread, I ordered me a 5x8. You guys finding all this neat stuff has got me PUMPED, lol.

Thanks everyone. Was back out at the church for a couple hours til we got rained out and managed to pull a few dollars in clad, including a 71 half dollar, and 2 rings. One is a kids ring that maybe is silver plated and the other is a honking what looks to be gold plated ring with like arabic or indian writing scribed all the way around the outside. Looks like there may be some writing on the inside too but cant make it out. Will have to clean it up a little bit and see then. Oh ya we also got out oldes coin yet, a 1919 wheatie that was like 9 inches down.

Waiting for the rain to stop and going back out. Picked up a Mastercraft brand garden knife from menards today and am loving it. For $13, feels heavy duty, cuts and digs well, and has a lifetime warranty.
