3 hunts accumulation! :garrett:

It took three hunts to put together enough stuff to post. Well, actually, my camera goes on the fritz from time to time. I think this Tennessee dust is getting to it. Worked on it last night and got it going again.

Anyway, the first 3 shots are of the 20s Mercury, 925 silver ring and all I dug this morning less one pouch pocket of trash dump in a trash can. The 4th shot is of the better stuff of two hunts combined. One day I got the 1909 Barber dime and the 64 Rosie along with the sterling Religious medal. Yesterday I snagged the 925 silver band, 2 I H cents, 1896 and 1906 and the no date Buffalo nickel. No wheat cents today, but did get 7 between the other two hunts. One of my very first targets dug the morning was the hefty junker ring. When I saw it in the broken clod, it didn't even give my heart a thump, it looked so bad. Dug a couple of old bullets, horse tack, curios and several pieces of older looking jewelry pieces and items. The ring I dug this morning was about 20' from my SUV and the last target I dug.

Over these three hunts I have been playing with the Garrett 5 x 8 coil and the NEL Sharpshooter 5.5 x 8.5 in hopes of being able to eliminate one as they are so close in size. Right now I like them both. The Garrett 5 x 8 is a joy to swing as it is so light and seemingly separates a tad better. The NEL, though, does seem to beat my 5 x 8 in depth.

Crank it up guys, the weather is right, even in the northern area's. We down here will be bemoaning the heat shortly. HH jim tn

Nice variety of finds, Jim! I enjoy finding the St. Christopher medallions. :detecting:

:clapping:Great going Jim! That AG fix is a necessity and the ATP is a fine partner to accomplish that.
