there was a bracelet? may not be junk also an earing and 12 + dollars in coins,and 1 more junk ring for the last 4 days. I am beat. then theres the one that got away- a broken ring I watched fall through the scoop. as it slid out I convinced myself it was junk anyway:cry: The ring I was thinking is silver has preco imprinted in it and is very very soft ? did they ever make a lead ring:poke:? it cleaned like silver but it seems porous and soft ?
 
I can't see from the pictures, but I can tell you I found a ring recently that turned out to be lead and tin. It was really noticeably soft as I could dig a sharp point into it easily when I looked at it under a microscope.

The big give away for me though was when I dropped it on a solid surface and it gave a real "dead" sound - nothing at all like a silver ring would.
