3 Hours in the Lane

did not plan on going to the lane today, but it kept getting nicer and nicer............tide was low like 5:30..........so i pack it up and head south

no other hunters in the lane...........fair amount of people considering the temp................cold in va beach today...........26* at 8:30am............

still no gold loot...........few more meager pennies, i guess the little norhteast wind we had last night did move some tickets around.

i did find this bird creature, u will see a pic of it later on. have no clue what it is, but has some major talons - i guess that what u call them............

let me know what it is............head missing

Max do not know what kind of bird that is but with the other tracks in the sand I have a idea what happened to its head.

I'm thinking seriously of braving the the Texas surf am in waders of course. Man it is freezing down here 39 right now. That's cold for us rebel pirates. Tomorrow is a 2 tide day, problem is that the low is at 132am -0.3L and the high is 345pm 1.4H. Time to cowboy up I guess and deal with it!

Gulf... I would kill for 39 right now.. Its 13 here and I'm hitting the water in a few :) Good luck if you go :)

Looks like a young guinea. A hawk probably killed it and dropped it in the water?

against New Castle disease and that a leg band with the date must be placed on the bird. Being in Va. where millions of chickens are raised I am assuming that this is what the leg bad is.
