3 HOUR HUNT AT A OLD BELL TOWER CHURCH

Last year, went to this church, found some clad, along with a silver jesus ring.Last night I was trying to decide to where I might get out and hunt today,a nice day 62 degrees was forcast, and the old church came to mind.It is a hispanic church now,but the pastor gave me permission, and it was a great day.Several dollars in clad and a good variety of finds around the grounds of the church,Got a CROWN PIN next to the church.Worked all the way next to the woods and had a quarter hit at 5 inches, turned it over and I wasn't sure if it was a junk ring or silver, got it cleaned up,and it is a very heavy silver ring, stones as usual are not real, but a nice chunk of 925, I had a great hunt and a great day.

THANKS FOR LOOKING

You had an interesting hunt. The Crown Pin is really nice.

My Bad,posted as 925,but it has to be silver plated?,Has anyone ever dug or seen a ring with 925 stamped on it,but my excitement took me to post it.Raked the backed yard ,came ,and examined it,called a couple of friends, and they agree ,it's fake. the silver patina is coming off around the bottom of the band.Another junk ring I'm afraid, sorry for "jumping in front of the line" ,man that stinks,i thought it was silver

Two days ago I found a ladies silver plated ring with a stone that looked like a diamond. Put it in my jeans pocket. When I got home the ring was not in my pocket. I think when I dropped the ring in my pocket it got snagged on my car keys and was pulled out when I reached in to pull my keys out. If it was a gold ring I would go back to where my car was parked and look for it. Gotta watch out, things get lost in strange ways.

It might still be silver. If there was a poor resizing job in the past, it may show discoloration. Normally when they resize rings, they cut at the bottom and then weld / solder it back together and then finish / smooth it up. I'd bring it to a jeweler and have them test it. Nice find!
