Found 14k gold earings which i bent with the digger and a silver bracelet. Also found my first ring it's a junker and this Lighter case. I think that's what
it is, it jumped all over the scale so i don't think it's silver. And about $5.00 in clad

Thanks, Your probably right it's a little to thin to be lighter plus there are no guts inside as far as i can tell.

Yes, you are correct it does say sterling on it but the cap had to be lifted to see it. I looked it up on line, it is definitly my best relic find to date
even though it's not in greaat condition. I think it was stepped on at some point.
