3 Feb trip day of silver

Went out today to the good old hot spot for about 3 hrs. Man was it cold(that's FL cold) 30's. I took my son today to see if he would like it. We found s new penny after about 40 min. Then, I ask my brother in law what he had found. He grinned and said he had 3 Mercury dimes. OK we had to pick it up a bit. Then my son got a good hit and out came a 1896 Barber quarter. Boy his eyes got big and he when running over show it off to my brother in law. We then found 3 Mercury dimes in the next hour. My b-in-law also pulled a 1939 quarter and 2 Indian head pennies 1906 and 1907. Photos show before and after cleaning.

That is a great haul on Silver! Does that Barber Quarter have a Mintmark on the back of it??? If it does, in Good Condition the 1896-O starts out at $25.00 and the 1896-S starts out at $675.00. The 1896 Plain starts out at $6.00 if you have that. Prices are from the 2007 Red Book. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH.
