Nice loot Steve, ofcourse you have the whole place to yourself now. I suppose you took over my favorite hunting area in my back yard? Wow only 3 bullet casings !!! They must be cleaning those school playground up a little. Nice chunk of 18K gold you found there too. Gotta be happy with a few hunts like that buddy.
the Portland Metro Area's new park & school detecting rules limit you to only those parks and schools that meet the following criteria:
a.. Those east of the Willamette
b.. Schools only on weekday before 5:30 AM and after 5:00 PM and when children are not present.
c.. Only 5-sided Parks and Schools that have a north-facing building.
Okay, so you don't quite buy that.
I need to try something to save a few sites and finds for when I can get out, don't I?

Funny. Actually, I did hear about a guy who got a ticket metal detecting the other day.
Buddy from work said he saw the guy detecting when he walked by with his dog. When he came back by he saw a cop giving the guy a ticket for digging on school grounds.
98.00 ticket he said. He said he talked to the cop that gave it to him when he was done.
Made me mad when I heard about it.
