Lucky 1 hr. hunt for me today. On an old map there was a park that is now built over with homes. An adjacent property is public and I thought maybe there was some spillover wagon parking. This may or may not be the case, however, I finally found a few coins. Actually i only dug 2 other clad coins today. These were ~ 6" down, the rosie and merc in the same hole. Glad I rescanned....I always do. Thought it may be a can, but when I had the magic sod in my hand, I knew it was coin sized. Then the sweet shade of silver. Whew Hoo.

More research is needed as this place is overgrown and trashy. Will have to go back in the fall. A lot easier to find silver when it is actually there.
