3 Days to detect Georgia

I will be arriving in Atlanta April 1st and will have 3 days ( April 1,2,3) to myself to detect for Civil War relics. I have never detected for Civil War relics before, although I have metal detected for 30 years. It's on my " bucket list" to find a Minnie ball ! Can someone recommend where to go ? I can travel any reasonable distance from Atlanta. If anyone is looking for a partner to hit some spots with, I can do it. Thanx !
