3 days of field hunting.....

Goes4ever

New member
Compared to previous yrs, this years fields are just not being generous with finds, This is 3 days of field hunting finds, thursday and friday after work, and ALL day saturday. I just cannot seem to find a producing field this year to save my life.

Anyhow, here is everything I got.... one lone 1893 injun, few buttons, buckle. Ugly cherub thingee, broken skeleton key, tiny piece of fancy silver, #7 tag. My find of the whole 3 days was the beautiful black point. That made me smile, all the points I have found before are of light colored flint, this was my first black one, totally saved my saturday.....lol

Saturday I hunted with Mike (BuckeyeHunter) and Bert ( a new member on another forum) I went there to help Bert with his new minelab 705, wanted to give him a quickstart and kinda bypass the learning curve since this was his first detector. Weather was beautiful, met new friends, and Bert's wife made up some of the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever had!!!!! All and all it was a FUN saturday!!!! Wish we had more finds to show, but I still had a blast.

You will find the right one, you always do. plenty of digging season left. Love the arrowhead.

I think it looks like some great finds!!! Coins and buttons are nice and you know if you killed it every time you went out sooner or later it wouldn't be as much fun :0) The thrill of the hunt :0) Congrats!!!!

well I beg to differ on that :clapping: there was times where I went out like 21 days straight and killed it every hunt, and I promise you it was FUN every single time lol

Very interesting digs...Trying to guess at what the ring looking thing with the threads on the bottom might be...Has me stumped...Either lamp fineal, or dresser pull maybe???
